SCENADU is an Asian botanical essential oil studio built by people who genuinely love plants.
Some of us grow them.
Some of us collect strange species.
Some of us spend hours smelling leaves, roots, bark, soil, and flowers — trying to understand why certain plants make people feel calm, grounded, or emotionally safe.
Over time, this slowly became SCENADU.
We create incense, soap, and scented objects inspired by the relationship between plants and everyday life. Not to make fragrance feel luxurious or distant, but to bring it back to something quieter, slower, and more human.

What Plants Taught Me
I’ve always felt deeply connected to plants.
Years ago, I read a book called Lessons From Plants by Beronda L. Montgomery, and something quietly changed in me. Since then, I’ve never really seen plants as decoration — I see them as teachers.
I like hugging trees, touching leaves, smelling bark, and watching how plants survive quietly through every season — small things that somehow always bring me back to myself.
SCENADU grew from that feeling.

Incense is where SCENADU began.
For a long time, incense was defined by the same familiar, temple-like scent. We wanted to explore something different — what if incense could smell like the ocean, wet soil, forests, herbs, or rain instead?
To create that, we combine traditional incense craftsmanship with botanical essential oils. Each scent is built more like a perfume — layered, atmospheric, and designed to shape different moods and spaces.
Rather than repeating what incense has always been, we use plants to imagine what incense could become.
13+ Stores
It grew quietly, yet faster than we expected. In the beginning, a leading concept store specialising in incense discovered SCENADU on a leading lifestyle platform in China and placed their first order. After experiencing the products, they stayed. Within a short time, SCENADU became one of the best-selling incense brands in their store.
That was the first signal.
Then, without intention or push, others followed — all without paid promotion. Stores reached out, one by one. Today, SCENADU is present in 13 curated stores across major cities in China — a quiet network built through recognition.
It grows not by expansion, but by being chosen.
